Brenden D. Moon, D.M.D.

Dr. Brenden Moon was born in Germany and grew up in El Paso, Texas with one year spent in Kuwait as his father moved due to his job with the U.S. Military. He later attended high school, college, and dental school in Tupelo, Clinton, and Jackson, Mississippi respectively. Though Dr. Moon did his share of moving, he often found himself in Burnside, IL at least twice a year visiting his grandparents– Vilas and Doris Jean Scanlan. While visiting their farm with his family he enjoyed swimming in LaHarpe, movies in Macomb, and church activities such as Lamoine Christian Campwith the Burnside Christian Church. The Hancock County Dental Center was looking for a full time dentist around the time Dr. Moon was expected to complete dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry and he was extremely happy to have the opportunity to work in Hancock County, be close to his family, and live in his grandparents’ farmhouse that he enjoyed so much as a child.

Dr. Moon currently resides in Quincy, IL with his wife Jessica and son Brody. He enjoys taking trips to visit family acroos the country and especially enjoys taking in Chicago Bears football games and paying close attention to anything going on with his favorite team.
